Contact potential co-authors. You write a letter to your partners inviting them to participate in this project. We provide a template to help your writers and designers in crafting the right appeal to your audience.
We schedule scribe sessions.We schedule one-on-one scribe sessions with the partners that you want included in the book to get what’s in their head into a written document.
Positioning.We work with your team and each contributing author to position the book. It makes both the writing and the marketing of the book easy and ensures you get what you want from your book.
Outlining.We work with your team to outline the book as a whole, and then with each contributing author to outline their chapter.
PHASE 2: Month 3–4 (General Timeframe)
Scribe Sessions.Through an in-depth interview with all the contributing authors, they’ll share their stories, and key takeways from your ministry. We’ll help talk them through the content, record the calls, and transcribe them. These transcriptions serve as a very rough first draft of the book.
Writing.After we finish the scribe sessions, we write the initial draft the book.
Cover Design. Our world-class artists design a rough draft of the book cover to be used for promotional purposes – to advertise the book well in advance, and get people to preorder the book. In other words, create a buzz for several months prior to publication date.
Website.We build you a compelling website so that you can begin to process pre-orders. We will also add a page where people will be able to sign up as “ambassadors” of the book. We recommend special benefits you can offer these “ambassadors.”
PHASE 3: Month 5-7 (General Timeframe)
Editing.We will revise your book together. Your manuscript will then go through two rounds of copyedits and proofreads with our team. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a book that not only teaches your readers and shares your stories. You’ll have a work of art.
Cover Design.We finish the cover design for your approval, and make any changes as necessary.
Interior Formatting.We design the interior of the book, and provide you a ready-to-print pdf file.
E-book.We provide you 6 different e-book files (Kindle, Nook, Apple, Google, Kobo, e-Pub) ready for upload to the online retailers.
Website.We make adjustments to the website to make the book available for sale (not just preorder.)
